Glasgow Airport today

From priority check in to going through security took 15 mins
Now in the BA lounge
The airport is busy the normal checkin was long but moving
I still couldn’t check in on line but a quick flash of my verifly green tick and all good to go
I’ll report on my Heathrow connection later and my Miami to Orlando
Checkin opened at 4/30am and the line was long when I arrived at 4/45

Very interested in what Gryff has to say about Heathrow. I’m flying from Glasgow to Slovenia via Heathrow two weeks today.

Unfortunately, even though I’m flying British airways all the way, I’m on two separate tickets (London - Slovenia was included with the holiday but had to make my own arrangements to get to London). I’ve also got to change terminals. Not looking forward to the flying bit at all.

That’s for priority security I wondered if there was a way to book priority check in?

Priority check in is usually for Club/Business passengers. Normally a separate check in desk alongside the others.
If no one else waiting they will call WT and WT+ passengers forward.

I have priority check in with my BA status
Well the flight was 20 mins late leaving Glasgow but we made up time and landed 5 mins late
Then that’s where it all went wrong we had to get a bus to the terminal and they unloaded us from the back and of course i was in 1A
Took almost an hour from landing to getting on the train for b gates
The que at the BA help desk was snaking all the way back
At least 20 people on our flight missed connections to Corfu , Mombi and other destinations they had 2 busses to unload a full flight
Just grabbing a coffee in the lounge before headinf to the gate
Folks were being told to collect bags as well if they had missed flights
At least id 2 hours plus to transfer
