BA Voucher expiry extension

Hi,

Has anyone had any success extending BA vouchers?

We have a £500 voucher that expires May 23 and from what i understand, we have to travel before it expires.

Already got out FL trips sorted this year and the prices to go to Europe are silly high at the moment.

Also as we're up north, would have to go indirect via London as BA don't really fly direct from anywhere else 😡

I understood that BA already extended the vouchers to September 2023?

Not sure as it depends on when the original booking was.

Looking on Flyertalk it seems all vouchers where extended to 30th September 2023.

It was part of a compensation for a holiday massively delayed with lost baggage and a few other issues.

The May date was a year from the compensation settlement. If they can extend to next September that would mean we can use towards family hol next year.

Will try and contact them and see what they say.
