Staggering 14 day combo tickets over 21 nights.
Hi everyone,
So we have our 14 day ultimate Disney and universal combo tickets which were meant for last year which we obviously didnt get to use so they are ready for us to use in September 2021 (Were hoping to be able to go then) but weve decided we will stay for 21 nights, how do people stagger their tickets or any tips to make it work? I know we could buy an extra week but not really wanting that, we are also considering discovery cove with free sea world access and we will be getting horror nights aswell. We know we can access disney springs and city walk regardless of tickets but just wanting others peoples opinion and advice Thanks in advance X |

Depends on the conditions for ticket, do you only have 14 days to use it across all parks or can it be stretched out

It depends where you are staying.
I also tend to think about where i want to be at the end. We like to go out on a Disney fireworks spectacular of some kind so that means using our Disney tickets towards the back end. So universal ones at the front. Sometimes start with SeaWorld as a first park day. It really depends on where you are staying, where / how you are eating and take it from there for me. |

21 days sounds a lot , but when you break down actual days in Orlando and days off parks etc and half days to water parks and shopping days etc with evenings In the parks. Will you have time to do DC and all the Busch-annheuser parks justice.
You can of course cram it all in - but do you want to ? It sounds as though you will have a Fab trip. |

We started at universal and then ended at Disney. It worked well for us.

Obviously it depends on your plans and what you like to do, but personally I would start the Disney ticket at the beginning and then start the Universal ticket one week into the 3 week holiday. That'll mean visiting Disney in the first week, having the choice of Disney or Universal in the second week, and then visiting Universal in the third week.
If you also get the Discovery Cove tickets, which give you 14 days access to Seaworld and Aquatica (and maybe Busch Gardens depending on the ticket type) then I'd look to start the 14 day period of that around the middle of the first week. But, as others have said, some like to end with Disney so they would start the Universal tickets first. Either way works.

We usually start with universal or smaller parks like gatorland and time it so we can do Disney on our last day.
Remember your Disney tickets will be valid for 15 days if you miss at least 1 day somewhere in the middle. |
