Upgrading universal ticket to AP.
If we used our 14 day ticket and upgraded it to AP when would the date start? Would it be from first use on our trip or if we upgraded on the last day would it be the day of upgrade? Thanks

as the good Dr. above answered, your AP will start on the day you first used the 14 days ticket
so, if you're upgrading to an AP including discounts, you better of doing it at the start of your stay also please be aware if you have a 3 parks 14 days ticket you will not be able to upgrade to a 2 parks AP, you will need to upgrade to a 3 parks AP so, I'm mentionning it, because some DIBBers before have asked the question, with, in the back of their head, the plan to use the ticket including VB, then upgrading at the end of their stay to a 2 parks AP. So let me just make it clear that, it doesn't work. this may or may not have been a concern of yours, but it's worth noting. |

You also get a year and one day, so they will expire at park close on the date you first used them.
So if your first day of use was 19th May 2020, they would expire at park close on 19th May 2021. |

Brill, if I bought 14 day universal ticket for an Easter break ( blocked out for seasonal pass) can I at the end of the trip upgrade it to seasonal pass to use again in August? We don’t need parking as use uber or free shuttles. Thanks

Yes as long as your aren’t blocked out for August. And yes just do it on the last day as you are leaving. We got seasonal passes for $49 each last year.

if you go for seasonnal, then by all means (no discount, so no reason to upgrade early), you can upgrade at the end of your stay BUT your AP will start on the date you activated the ticket, not on the date you upgraded if you upgrade on a day the AP is blocked out, you will be required to exit the park, or make that upgrade at a guest relations outside a park, and won't be able to reenter after upgrading. just be sure to upgrade BEFORE your ticket expires also note if you're going early august there might be blockout dates on seasonal also note that, if you have a 3 parks ticket, you will be required to upgrade to a 3 parks AP Edited at 09:06 AM. |
