The sanctuary at westhaven

Anyone stayed at The Sanctuary at WestHaven?
Looks like a good location to me but any advice would be good.

Yes its lovely. Close to publix and millers. We�ve stayed there twice

Yes - we usually try to stay on one of the villa areas in West Haven. They are all nice and it is convenient for Championsgate and the I4. Also near to the US27

It�s lovely, stayed at The Golfers Dibb villa there. Very quiet and clean and is close proximity to restaurants at championsgate, then on to I4 to the parks. The villa we stayed in had a huge open space with a pond in the middle out the back, so no rear neighbours, some lovely wildlife, even a family of armadillos!

West Haven is a great location, have stayed on The Sanctuary a couple of times and on the other communities many times. Great access to the parks via I4/429 and/or World Drive. Good selection of restaurants in Championsgate and also on the 192.

Last few years has seen an increase in traffic through Championsgate to I4 which can be a pain.

The traffic is a nightmare but it hasn�t stopped us staying on Westhaven 3 times.

Thanks for all the replies, we have booked the villa we found at The Sanctuary.
Will prepare for traffic and hopefully all will be good, the area looks lovely.

It's a good area but as others have said it can be a bit tiresome to get onto I4 Eastbound as the way the junction is set up there's only one lane to go left. But overall plenty of good places to eat nearby etc, and a nice community

The upside is that there are a number of alternative route options depending on where you are going. My advice is to study a map and check out the alternatives.

I�ve stayed there before. The development and villa were lovely but it�s too far out from the parks for me. We were never less than 35 minutes drive to Disney, 45 minutes to universal. The I4 was awful. And that was in 2007 so I suspect it�s worse now as the area is far more developed than it was back then
