Travel time travel insurance?

Travel Time have come up on comparison sites, competitively prices and with 5 star defaqto scores.
Coverage seems good and covers end supplier failure etc.
My only issue is I’ve never heard of them.
A quick google gave ok reviews, just wondered if anyone had any experience?

Do some research to find out who their underwriter is as it's they who deal with illness phone calls/claims, then research the underwriter. For example, Boots Travel Insurance is underwritten by TifGroup who I had need to use Nov 2018 when admitted to Cape Coral hospital, they were excellent.

Have you checked Boots Travel Insurance? They offer cash back via Quidco or TCB plus they claim a 20% discount if booked online.

They’re underwritten by mapfre, a large Spanish insurance company.

Mapfre is THE insurer here in Spain, a well established company both online and with locals offices all over Spain. Whilst nothing’s guaranteed these days, they’re a safe bet

According t their website they are underwritten by Chaucer. This is a specialist insurer and they operate two Lloyd’s syndicates, based in London. DH worked there briefly ten years ago before we decided to relocate overseas.

It was ASDA insurance underwritten by MAPFRE that’s how I’ve confused myself.

Still not booked any, it’s driving me bonkers.

DH and I have decades of insurance experience between us. Chaucer are fine, five star defacto is important and they have it. I don't know this company either, but there are no alarm bells ringing for me.

Glad you’ve said that, I decided to go for it as on paper it ticks all the boxes.
Fingers crossed I won’t need it use it.
