We have 22 nights end of July into August so fully within school hols. 2 adults and 2 teens so count as adults for ticket prices etc.

Flights £1784, bargain Lufthansa indirect
CBR 16 nights, Inc 21 day tickets and upgraded DDP £6708
DVC rental for final 6 nights £1500
Universal tickets free as paid for last year and we upgraded to APs for free
Insurance £30
Premier Inn night before £30

Total £10,052

We have $300 gift card so will use that for tips during CBR stay. We will have to pay for food at the end during the DVC stay so I'll need to add that on when we are there.

£114.27 pppn

Thanks for sharing everyone as it has been interesting to read.
How far out did you book the flights? I’m looking at next July and we’d be happy to fly Lufthansa especially at that kind of price.

I booked on 29th August, never booked that early before but it seemed such a good price I went for it as we needed fully within the school hols and needed to be back before GCSE results day. Plus, it's into MCO and that was something I wanted as don't want to hire a car.

Good luck with your flight booking

I overpaid for flights as I panic bought with BA when Thomas Cook went under. Am foolish. Cost without spending money in July 2020 for 3 adults (DD is 18) for 15 nights at POFQ with the free dining upgraded from QS to Regular dining plan, 14 day tickets was £5,817.
Flight costs with BA economy were;
Seat selection £324
Flights £2734
Hilton Gatwick family room with breakfast £219
Parking at airport £118

Total without spending money is horrifying. £9,212.

£204.71 per person per night.

We go end May - 2a 2c (10&8) for 14 nights
First timers but booked everything separately.

Flights - £1121.36 Man-MCO

(originally with TC, but rebooked with Virgin the eve prior to the TC collapse thankfully!) Not added baggage yet, but may be ok with hand luggage only as we have easy access to laundry facilities at the villa

Bubble seat selection - £280

Villa - £1200

Car Hire - £451

Universal 14 day - £1175

Discovery Cove swim / 14 day seaworld, aquatic & busch - £636

Grand total - £4863.36 (divide by 4 is £1215.84)

Im feeling pretty pleased with myself for making it all sub £5k - especially as a first timer

We were VERY lucky! I'd paid £1700 with TC and thought this was ok for a direct flight from Manchester. Kept an eye one the TC goings on, and discovered Virgin's 24hr cancellation period so booked those flights the night before TC went bust. Thank god I did - they were extortionate by the following lunchtime!

Just booked last night for October as had been going to wait for next year but thought why not

BA package GLA-LGW-MCO and 10 nights at All Star Sports preferred room for 1 adult and 1 teen £1917

14 day Disney tickets for 2 through Disney £798

£2715 total - quite happy with that to be staying at Disney with magical express, extra hours etc. Never stayed at a value before, but last trip we weren’t in the room or resort that much so it will be fine

Great thread and thanks everyone for sharing costs.
Some of the more expensive ones have great ideas for special trips I wouldn't have thought about!
No matter what the costs of your trip are, have a great time!
