What happens about paying for luggage when booked through a third party?

Not Florida but currently searching for flights to either LA or Vegas for next Feb through Skyscanner and Netflights etc. Knowing that a lot of airlines now charge for hold luggage how do you pay for this when booked through a third party? I'm assuming the price given doesn't include them?
I've tried doing a dummy booking but I can't get any further without inputting my details

Not sure if this helps but I booked a flight and hotel deal via Expedia recently. I got immediate confirmation from both Expedia and Jet2 with my booking reference. Just logged into jet2 website and paid for luggage, seats etc. I’d imagine it would be a similar thing for your booking.

Assume it doesn't included luggage, and check with the airline what the fees are.

It will depend on the booking agent and the airline as to whether it is included but always assume not and check the prices on the airlines website to get an idea of how much it would be to add. Sometimes it is cheaper to book indirectly within luggage and then add it direct with the airline afterwards.

Whenever I use skyscanner or kayak for virgin flight the prices given are based on economy light and can’t change to evonomy classic.

Does this mean I can only book economy classic direct through virgin?

netflights tells you on the price details on their site whether or not hold baggage is included in the price, before you have to put any personal booking details in.

On Kayak you can actually now filter by hold luggage - the default will be "0" hold luggage but if you change it to "1" it only shows you prices including baggage.
