Luggage covers
Just bought myself a new suitcase (for our camping in the garden holiday LOL) (not). I have seen waterproof suitcase covers and was wondering if they are strong enough or if they get ripped on the plane. Do any Dibbers use these?

I would suggest that given airline baggage handlers can destroy Samsonite hard cases with their "careful handling" that a simple waterproof cover would struggle to stand up to their "gentle touch"
Probably the better option is to 1. Put the waterproof covering inside the suitcase and pack into that 2. Buy a waterproof suitcase in the first instance If you are tempted to do option 1, you can obtain the same waterproof capabilities from a Tesco black bin bag, you can buy 10 of them for about a quid so much cheaper than a case covering Edited at 01:45 PM. |

Yes, you are right, of course. I thought that would be the case. (No pun intended!).
