The flights are now off sales/say the flight is sold out so hopefully news is coming soon for us!

The are the losers as I was debating rebooking with the 20% incentive but their tardiness has meant we've booked elsewhere.

The money now won't be refunded in time for us to book something else which is hugely annoying.

I think everyone knows what will be will be - but want to have a little positive hope that it might be their flight that is the one that’s going ahead.
As for booking - ours was booked originally in 2019 - I think it was already booked before our trip in September 2019, was obviously cancelled and we moved it to September 2021 thinking it couldn’t go on that long (maybe naive but that was the impression we were given by the travel company) but it’s been cancelled again. Id hazard a guess this goes for most of the people with bookings I don’t think people have just been booking things and cancelling them while all this has been happening.

Yeah, when we first booked at the end of 2020 for Sept/Oct this year it didn't even enter our mind that we'd still be in this situation. The numbers were going down, there were vaccines, we didn't even contemplate this situation.

We're pushing this trip back to next Christmas/New Year now. Partly because we already have plans to go to California in May/June but also because by then we just have to be able to travel again (I hope!)

I mean, you have to hope, don't you? I live for my Florida fix, so...

Maybe the prices for 2022 are a sign... It wasn't hard to get a really good price for our flights this year, but 2022 prices are ridiculous...
