Do you always book your flights on the release date ?

So, here’s my findings. I was looking for 5 adults and one youth 9th to 29th August, London to MCO and London to Tampa including luggage.
I went online at 01.10 on release day.

MCO flights - 01.10 = £6507
06.30 = £6957
07.55 = £7407
16.30 = £7605
This morning ( release day +1) = £7528

Tampa flights - 02.00= £5325
06.30 = £ 5325
08.20 = £5325
16.30 = £6573
20.45 = £6903
This morning (release day +1) £6905

I would say it’s DEFINITELY worth getting up early for MCO flights!

Our flights 15th to 29th August LGW-TPA have gone up £913 since I booked them at 1am yesterday.

Those dates are already available to book with BA so you can start checking now.

Unfortunately you’ve been able to book them for awhile. The prices definitely would have gone up a fair bit. The thing is know ones if they will go back down at some point. All very unknown. I’d have thought the longer the borders stay closed the less likely they go down.

Are you doing this with private browsing or clearing cookies/sessions inbetween, they may be artificially rising based on your constant checking otherwise.

Assuming your flights are from/to Heathrow with Standard Economy I'm getting £7444.02 from to MCO with those dates and people.

Our booking has gone up just over £3000 as I mentioned!

I’ve only checked it once since we booked on release day (22/7 for us) and that was on 29/8 when the sale had started…I never recheck my price normally but was curious with sale.
That was on 2 different devices so def not cookies for me!

No, my flights are not those. It’s LGW - MCO @ 10.50 9/8/22 5 adults and one 16 year old INCLUDING luggage.
Return MCO - LHR @ 19.55 on 29/8/22 passengers as above again including luggage.
What do you see for that?
