What an absolute tumpty!

Just had an email from the restaurant that I booked for me, DH and DD for Christmas dinner, reading down the email suddenly realised that I didn’t book the restaurant 10 minutes up the road but one of the same name 40 minutes away in Totteridge Village North London.

Have looked locally and can’t book anything now. I said to DH my mistake so I’ll drive but being the lovely man he is he said we can still go and he will drive. I hate driving round the A406 hopefully will be a bit quieter Christmas Day.

I am usually so on the ball with these sort of things double/triple checking dates and times before I book.

Easily done. I mistook 2 different Italian restaurants and exchanged some of my tesco club card vouchers for one I thought was in my town, but ours is a different branch. The nearest one for the branch I had the vouchers for is 2.5 hours drive away. 'Luckily' covid struck and tesco let us revert our vouchers back to points.

I can still cancel and only loose the £10 each deposit, I need to make my mind up as it’s only fair to give the restaurant plenty of time to book the table to some else.

My DH booked cinema tickets for the wrong Bangor, instead of NOrth Wales he booked for Bangor Northern Ireland! it’s easy done, he only realised when google directions said it was about 200 miles away 😂😂😂

My sister was telling me about a restaurant they had been to where you had to order by app. The couple on the next table had ordered and paid but for a restaurant miles away.
What a carry on. So easily done.
