Can't find an LVT floor I like

We have this in the kitchen/diner with oak furniture and I love it. I have it laid on the diagonal

In both the Amtico and kardean’s website they have a feature that you can take a picture of your room and superimpose a chosen floor. It might give you ideas on what you’re looking for.
We have amtico oak and next week will be having it laid all the way through the bottom floor.

We used this and it really does give a good representation of what you would get.

I know you have looked at Moduleo, but did you realise each one come in several shades? We have a Laurel Oak but there were about 15 called Laurel Oak all different shades. It was only in the showroom that we realised this! Luckily the showroom had our doors so we matched it up with them. We matched grain rather than colour as with the doors being real wood we know they will change however the LVT won't.

Also think about not going for wood effect as possibly the same thing will happen again. Have a look into some of the stone ones and a nice bold contrast maybe.

The problem I have is that the doors were quite expensive (one of them is a large bifold which cost near £1000. I am trying to search everywhere how to dull down the orange tone in them but can't find an answer. They are oak veneer. Anyone any clues?

My on going floor saga continues...

I am trying to find out what type of floor my old floor was

I initially thought it was LVT. It was already there when we moved in 8 years ago so not sure how old it was.
I am starting to wonder if was something else though.

It stayed in good condition over the years but there were a few thin black scratch marks from furniture being dragged. It had a couple of white , circular scratch marks and it had a smooth, 'polished' feel to it.

I am starting to think it was maybe an engineered wood but from what I'm reading this damages quite easily?

Our flooring is from a company called COREtec plus.
I can’t remember what colour it is but it might be worth having a look at them
