Collecting car from hard rock hotel

When renting a car via avis at hard rock hotel can you gain access to the hotel via city walk if not staying onsite

Yes, you walk down city walk to the 'globe' turn right and walk down past Toothsome and the HR Cafe. This puts you on a path to the HRH which you would access through the pool area.

You could also Uber to the front door and walk into the lobby where the Avis desk is located.

Easy to find Mike, straight through the hotels front doors and Avis desk is right next to concierge on the left hand side

We are staying at portofino bay for 4 nights and then will need a car, would we need to book ours from the hard rock ? Or can we do it at the portofino?

Portofino Bay is also listed as an Avis location.

Just to add, you can't access via the pool area unless you have a room key. You will have to follow the path all the way round to the front. You could get the boat, which will take you closer to the main front entrance than the pool entrance.
