Uber from Tampa

Has anyone had an Uber from Tampa to Orlando?
We are arriving next week, do not want a car and Uber/lyft are the cheapest transfer option.
Feeling a bit nervous about it now as it’s longer then any Uber journey we’ve done previously.
Thanks

depends where you are going, but it'll probably be around $80-100ish each way

I am looking at this as a possible option for next year. You'll have to let me know how it goes when you get back.

I have used UBER to go to Busch Gardens and back. About $90 to $100 each way.

How long did the journey take roughly?

Just weighing up the times from landing in each airport and getting to the hotel bearing in mind the sizes of the airports and possible length of the immigration lines, I wonder if Tampa might be about the same or even a bit quicker overall even though it is further away.

About an hour. Although traffic can be bad and add a lot of time.

We got home yesterday. When we went out over three weeks ago I still hadn't decided on an Uber or a one-way rental to get from Tampa up to the Beach Club.

I decided when we were in New York, en route, and booked a one-way rental with Alamo direct. I didn't have to pay in advance so I knew I could just leave if it I changed my mind between New York and Tampa.

As it turns out, I stuck with the plan, picked up the car and drove up to WDW, dropping it off with valet parking at the Dolphin around an hour and a half later. Cost me $50 or so. It's a very easy drive.

I'm not sure why you would feel "nervous" about a longer Uber journey though unless I'm missing something.
