Provided you have a through ticket and luggage going straight through its fairly simple.
There is a gate which sits between the two terminals and if a flight is using it they stop people going between the two and can be for 15 minutes. If you are on a tight schedule you will need to find someone to escort you through. You may also get caught at transfers as you need a US immigration person to put a sticker on your passport to say you have been asked the basic security questions. This was a 10 minute queue when we went through the other week. Other than that fairly simple, it took about 40 minutes gate to gate when we did it. Coming back you have to go through security between the two terminals and immigration. So no taking liquids etc through. Edited at 05:21 PM. |
