Suncream - how much do you take?

We’re a family of 3 and usually take 2-3 bottles. We don’t actually need as much as that but I like spare in case of leakage, loss or burst bottles! Son has really sensitive skin and we use Soltan, which is great. Cruising for the first time this year, so might use more than when we’re in the parks.

Us too, I treated in with Aloe Vera and menthol for 24hrs and fortunately not too bad.

We get ours on our first trip to Publix, that year we didn't go shopping on our first night as we didn't land until 11pm and got and went straight to Aquatica on our first day.

So now I take a small bottle of Ultrasun Sport for day one and we stock up up on Banana Boat whilst we are there.

We bring loads with us, all family has pale skin and burn easily. We got really burnt arms in a water park last time using the banana boat spray on stuff. So I prefer to use a factor 50 from home that I know is really water resistant.

Everyone’s useable will be different. If I wore short shorts and strappy tops I would get through a ton more than we do. Also I have a lot bigger surface area than other people might have!

I always get the Boots own brand stuff as it's always come up as one of the best rated by Which. For two adults I take one big bottle of F50 lotion and one smaller spray of F25/30. It's always way way too much and we use it religiously.

For face, I do like their tinted BB suncream thing. It's a teeny weeny bottle and lasts ages. Although most premium make up has built in SPF so I use MAC liquid foundation if I want to look glam.

Always take the small blue bottle of after sun which again is more than enough.

Boots tend to have it reduced after kids go back to school so you can get it quite cheap and if need be, always dump it if it's too heavy on way home. 😁

The spray cans don’t last anywhere near as long as the normal lotion, which will be why we get through so much. We’re also by the pool most of the day so apply a full body coverage for each of us most mornings - using lotion on shoulders, face, neck, and then a spray everywhere else. We Haven’t used lotion in years - the spray is so much easier which means we’re more likely to use it - important for my DH who burns easily being milk bottle white

Really love the spray, it’s sooo easy, especially after a swim etc, the boys just stand there and revolve as I spray

Haha yeah that was mine when they were younger. When they are with us They mostly do their own now (19 & 23 years old)

My 16 yr old still asks me to do it ‘because it’s easier’ 🙄. Of course it’s easier... for him!
