Question about universal hotel and fast pass options

Can someone confirm fast pass options when staying at universal hotels. We go March 19th for two weeks and have a full already booked but we have just watched a vlog which stated they had free fast pass when they booked one night stay at portfino bay. Just wondering which hotels it has to be to get this and is it just the night you stay or the day you check out or two week ticket. We don’t need a night in hotel but if it’s worth it then we may do it for experience just need to know a bit more about it.

The express pass is provided to guests staying at Portofino Bay, Royal Pacific or Hard Rock Hotel. It will be available for check in and check out days and every day inbetween.

Ok that makes more sense. I just looked and noticed those hotels are a lot more than cabana bay so it must be due to the hotel plus the extras you get. Hotels are not normally on my radar due to the villas we use.
