Muir Woods and Napa winery in one day?
Hi, would you say it's doable to go to Muir Woods at noon (we have already pre-booked parking) and then visit a Napa winery in the afternoon? The distance between the two doesn't seem too big. We are a family of five, so looking for a winery that welcomes children. We will be using a hire car to get around. Thanks

I'm not sure of the distance, but I'll say I'd now want to rush Muir Woods.
It was one of the highlights of our trip last Summer - it is absolutely spectacular and I was happy to spend much of the day there. |

It's do-able but you'd need to plan very carefully otherwise you'll end up with a "flying visit" to both areas and just get a taster of each.
You'd probably need to get to Muir Woods very early in the morning to appreciate both areas. I didn't do a wine trip but spent quite a bit of time in Muir woods - more my type of thing. Here's an plan from someone who has done exactly what you are looking for Link here
