Good idea Blusteryday. Helpful to those looking to get an idea of prices.
We booked up last week. Fly out - 25th June 2020 Return - 12th July 2020 From Gatwick Direct to MCO. It came to £1489 for 2 adults and 3 children and booked direct with British airways. They have price matched another site at £1410 and refunded the difference. No hold bags included however they will be £40 pp each way. Pretty happy with the price. |

I couldn’t hold out any longer!
Booked flydrive with British Airways. Sunday 30th June Edinburgh - Gatwick - Tampa Sunday 12th July Orlando - Gatwick - Edinburgh 6 adults going so 2 people carriers £608 each. People carriers are about £600 each so that makes it around £400 for flights. I now need to not look at the sale in September. Edited at 01:39 PM. |

Got overly excited and booked today!
British Airways fly drive for 2 adults & 1 child (13). LGW to MCO direct. Flying Sat 11/7/20 to Wed 29/7/20. Includes Group F Ford Escape or similar for 18 nights. Includes hold baggage both ways. Just did a BA search from Fri 24th July to Weds 5th Aug. This is a week shorter than we are going but gives an idea of price I think.
Direct LGW-TPA Economy Standard with checked luggage With Ford Edge £687 per adult Note - it was about £50 cheaper going on Saturday 25th July. MCO and MIA are a lot more expensive. I still have a few days until my preferred return date us released (Weds 12th Aug). Edited at 02:30 PM. |

We’ve booked!
BA flydrive 18/07/2020 - 6/08/2020 (19 nights) LGW - MCO direct with luggage 2A 3C (Ages: 17, 15, 12) Ford Explorer (from Budget-Avis was very slightly cheaper but saw that afterwards!) £700.60 per person. Very happy with that, budget was £700 pp without car for direct. We were looking to fly to Tampa but this price suited us, so MCO it is. Now to stop looking 🙈. Good luck everyone, hope your price comes along. |

Booked at last!
I am so relieved to have booked!
20/07/20-03/08/20 Manchester-Orlando Orlando - Manchester Baggage included Indirect Outgoing via New York (4h 16 mins) so we can clear immigration there, and inbound via Frankfurt (2h 30) Spotted on Skyscanner but booked direct with Lufthansa website £628 per person for 5 adults It might not be a bargain deal for some but I am so happy with this as my prices have been between £850-£1000 per person so far. Even with travelling to Manchester the night before and cost of a hotel we will be saving more than enough. Edited at 09:11 PM. |
