Stuck in a car park!

As the title says , I’m stuck in a car park. I’m in the park n ride at ingleston beside Edinburgh airport. I’ve been to Kirkwall ( Orkney) and back today, up at 4:45 am and now I’m stuck here. I think it’s a combination of Festival traffic and an accident. It says on my satnav I won’t be home till 8 pm. Nearer 9 I reckon!

Oh no that sucks! I hope you get out soon.
I was once stuck in Sainsbury’s car park once, but it was luckily in the town centre so I re-parked up and went shopping instead and went back later once the traffic had eased.

There was a picture on my Facebook feed earlier of a flood near Edinburgh Airport. Could that have caused the issue?

The flood was yesterday, someone posted on our local FB page that they had been sitting for ages in the Ingliston P&R and not going anywhere. Hope you are moving now.

We got stuck in the Trafford centre car park once, for 3 hours! Apparently there was a charity match at Old Trafford and we needed to get to the Apollo, it was literally standstill traffic!

Another time was in Tesco car park, I don’t know why but the town I’m from gets crazy busy at Christmas, mainly on tesco car park, we were stuck on there for two hours, again it was standstill traffic, this was two days before Christmas!

If it is a car park with ANPR camera enforcement based on time make sure you keep you proof of entitlement. Hopefully being a P&R it shouldn't be an issue.

That’s me home , thank goodness.
It’s a free car park so one less thing to worry about at least.
