Not sure if it’s a Scottish saying I use it a lot though, proper Scottish chat!
Good for you.

I hoped to have a cheeky week at Feb half term as the flights were dirt cheap when they came out, but my husband dithered and the price went up. So we’re now going to Filey with some friends for 3 nights instead!

We booked a last minute holiday with Virgin, we normally book everything separately. This our first time going in September and are surprised at how full the flight is, we would normally go PE but the only seats available were Economy Classic going out, got PE for the return but in the middle of a row of four.

It's an idiotic saying. I have heard going for a cheeky walk, cheeky sandwich, cheeky picture. Baffling.

What's cheeky about a walk? These people can vote in elections and have children.

I’ve become active on the Dibb again since about March of this year having taken a break since 2017 and I am honestly saddened by the number of nasty contributions by various posters that seem to have crept into threads since then.

Do you really think this is a useful contribution to the OPs tread? You have basically insulted her and all other posters who admit to using the phrase.

If anything is idiotic it is your contribution to the thread as it’s only purpose seems to have been to insult others.

So what you are saying is this is no longer a discussion forum? and do you not see your hypocrisy in what you have just posted?

But what were you discussing -the fact that you think people who use the term “cheeky” and therefore the OP and others are idiots?
I think you made that point well. I was simply saying it didn’t add anything to the thread other than insults.
I’m not saying the Dibb isn’t a discussion board just that you don’t have to be nasty doing it.

The fact that you dont like it doenst make it idiotic at all!

I hope you can arrange a cheeky week away 🙂 I’m hoping for a general election soon so I can have a cheeky vote.
