Disney’s boardwalk
We want to go have a look around the boardwalk - but not while we are using our park tickets which is the best way to get there and what is the best time of day to go? We have a car but I read somewhere we can’t park there
Thanks |

You can drive there and ask for a parking pass for a few hours.

We've never stayed on site but every holiday we visit the Boardwalk.
We park up at Disney Springs and catch a free WDW bus to either Swan, Dolphin, Yacht & Beach and Boardwalk. Same bus but it stops at all those places. if we get a bit bored with the bus ride we get off at the Swan and catch the free boat which also goes to the same resorts. The boat also goes to EPCOT and HS Mick

You can easily walk from the Swan if you want to get off the bus. The Swan / dolphin boatdock is a few minutes walk from the Boardwalk. Just across a bridge

Yes we do that as well. We like the boat ride though and always do a full loop wherever we board.

Park up at the extreme eastern end of Orange multi-storey parking garage and you'll be near the bus terminal. Just one more tip - the specific bus that I mentioned doesn't start running until 11am. This is to discourage people parking free at DS, catching the bus to Boardwalk then walk or boat to EPCOT or HS and avoiding paying to park at the parks.
