Disney Dining Plan

Hi

We are due to go to DW next month and was wondering if anybody had any tips or general information about the Disney dining plan.

Is there a way to keep track of the credits as you use the dining plan?

Is there a best way to use the plan to utilise as much as possible?

Thanks in advance.

Stu

You can keep track of credits on MDE app , and on the bottom of receipts when you have a meal!

Mainly posted to follow this thread ...😁

My advice is to consider sharing the odd QS meal and your credits will really stretch further. A bit of research on snack credits and you can get some real huge and yummy bargains so won't need a full meal at lunch. For example for one QS credit I got my son a foot long mac and cheese hot dog and fries and a large coke, from Caseys corner, asked for the mac and cheese on the side. This feed my eldest and I for a generous lunch (I love Mac and cheese, he loves hot dogs!). It save wasting food and means that you quickly start to build up unused credits so never worry you will run out. There are some huge snack credits out there which make excellent breakfasts.

We discovered that at AKL if you asked at the shop for a print out they would give you a receipt that listed all your credits left, I assume every Disney hotel shop would do the same

As others have said you can view it on MDE. You can even search history to see where you've spent your credits. I wouldn't worry too much about running out as most people seem to end up with too many left and need to buy snacks etc to take home.

We have these left and check out on Friday 😂

Book your table service meals. You can change them when you’re there with other available options if you need to but need to cancel 24 hours in advance. Other than that for QS and snacks I’d not worry and eat when you’re hungry. We never get close to getting through all the food so don’t stress about getting the most out of it. Many snack credits are as big as a meal! Happy eating.

My advice is always to read some dining reports to see how others have used it. People often do things I’d never have thought of.
