Upgraded to UOAP last week - current price

For anyone looking at annual pass upgrade for Universal, we done this last week, here is the current pricing.

We had 2 14 day 3 park tickets. They valued our tickets at £279 each, (we paid £227 with the Musement offer).

Upgrade price for all three parks worked out at £81 in total, for two seasonal annual passes, exchange rate was around $1.27 on the day.

We aren’t sure if we are definitely going back, we hope so, and the price seemed like worth taking the risk. The customer service rep said that we could still upgrade one of the passes at a later date to the preferred pass if we needed the free car parking.

I handed my card over whenever I remembered, some places didn’t give any discount (which I knew it probably wouldn’t), but handed it over at the mini golf in citywalk and got a 10% discount even tho my pass type wasn’t listed, so always worth a try!

If I can find the receipt to show the transactions in dollars I will post it, but I haven’t even unpacked yet!

Sorry, I don’t know. I know we couldn’t downgrade from 3 to 2 tho. If they list 2 park annual passes on the official website I can’t see any reason why they wouldn’t be able to do that for you. Good luck.

yes you definitely can.

you will be able to upgrade to a 2 parks AP, OR to a 3 parks AP (difference between a 2 parks AP and a 3 parks AP is $99)
the value for your ticket will be determined on the day, and will be applied towards your upgrade

as OP noted above, the only thing you can't do is downgrade. Meaning you can't turn a 3 parks ticket to a 2 parks AP

This was an offer through google attractions, was about March/April this year and someone posted it on the Dibb, they had 20% off and also included a whole, load of other Orlando tickets, the Disney ones sold out quite quickly, I don’t think the offer is on anymore, keep an eye on the ticket thread on here in case the offer comes back, as it was a terrific price. If you search Musement on the forum search you should find the thread about it. (I would link to it but I’m a bit useless at such things)

Thanks for the reply. We only booked at short notice so that offer had expired
We are going to buy 2 ap whilst there
1 preferred pass and 1 seasonal pass for £574
Both 2 park with one that gives free parking and 15% discount on food and merchandise. Not to bothered about volcano bay
The 3 park 14 day pass in the uk works out at £568 plus $25 per visit parking granted you get the volcano bay but for only £3 pp for the annual 2 day pass plus a £20 saving per visit after the first visit this makes great value
