Thomas Cook PE question..

Hi all,

Has anyone flown in TC PE in seats 7A & 7C?

I'm curious to know what these would be like in comparison to 1A & 1C (other than being front row).

Are 7A & 7C better because no one is behind you?
Are the screens in row 1 a pain because they're pull out screens and not back of seat?
How did you generally find these seats due to them being in front of the bulkhead?
Do you wish you picked another seat, maybe row 1 or something different?

We’ve booked PE 7D, F, G, H & K for the reason of no one being behind us.

I watched a video on YouTube that showed the recline in full and read on reviews that as PE are first off the back row get out first.

On the way home we’re 7A, C, D, F, G for the same reason.

Four visits in recent years on TC PE from MAN.

One trip in seats 1A and 1C. One trip in 6A and 6C. six trips in 7A and 7C.

Most recently in those seats last Monday flying home.

Much prefer row 7 mostly because of guilt free reclining. I know lots don't worry about that but we do. Downside is sometimes last to be fed.

Outbound food the usual pleasant James Martin stuff - inbound the usual dire US rubbish. IFE choice as usual not a patch on BA or VS - was around Ł1,000 cheaper for two than VS though - no brainer - we don't pay Ł1,000 more for a couple of films.

Just to add. On seven flights we were first off because cabin crew held back economy. On Tuesday morning it was a bit of a free for all.

We were on the front row in PE last October when we flew to Seattle via LA, and we found the screens which fold into the armrests to be a pain - much prefer seatback things.
Wish we could've snagged the back row for this year, then we could've reclined without feeling guilty! Never reclined all the times we've been!

We fly 1A and C going out, I like being at the front, the screens don't actually bother us, we fly 7A and C coming back because my husband likes to sleep and finds being at the back quieter and not so bright.

We did 1H1K, last off out of premium and didn’t like the pull out TVs. Plus had to go behind curtain to use the loo lol

Sounds like Row 7 is preferable to row 1...

Yes there is a door as well and all seven rows of PE use that toilet. Head height for a 6'2" man is not generous.

The curtain simply divides the galley from row 1.
