Two separate but consecutive Disney bookings
So after being livid with Norwegian for changing their schedule last week, I'm now starting to think they've done us a favour as means we get to experience another resort as well as CSR. And even though it's a value (ASMo) I'm actually really excited about that as I love the theming of the values but as I book with free dining a moderate always seems cheaper than a value and upgrading the plan!
Anyway, on to my questions. Although I now have two consecutive bookings, as both were made separately am I right in thinking this means two sets of magic bands? Also, my plan is to do online check-in for both bookings so we can go straight to the parks on the morning our CSR booking begins, get Disney to transfer luggage and then go to CSR in the afternoon. Has anyone done something similar and can confirm that the dining plan and tickets linked to the second booking will activate on the morning of that day although check-in isn't until 3pm? If so we can pick up our mugs and get breakfast at ASMo before we leave. Thanks for any tips! |

You’ll need to go to CSR and get your new magic bands which link your dining plan and your tickets.

If you have 2 consecutive bookings only the booking that includes park tickets will have free dining. The second booking will not have dining as there are no park tickets with it (unless you bought 2 sets of tickets as well)

Your credits should be available early in the morning.

We are in the same situation as we are arriving a day before our CSR with dining commences so are going to book a value. We will be arriving late as flying Aer Lingus so intend to drop bags at bell services for transfer the following morning before heading off.
As far as I'm aware the dining credits should appear on MDE in the early hours of your booking. We will be using the bands we have from this year.

No help to the OP I'm afraid but can you carry over your dining credits? I thought they expired at midnight on the day of checkout or can they transfer any remaining credits onto your new booking? If so, I didn't know this could be done.
