To be fair to agent-oso I understood their main issue with disneyland Paris is that it's in France rather than a country where English is the first language.

WDW have announcements in Spanish but not 1 attraction has Spanish language used during it. All in English.
Let in go is sung in English during Disney dreams and mickey and the magician. There are English versions of the frozen sing a long. I'm not sure what you're even on about with this point.

Sammy I understand too but he/she is using completely false statements to try and back up their point. My worry is someone considering to go to DLP looks at this thread and actually thinks statements like '90% of mickey and the magician is in French' and believes it.

To clarify what agent_oso may mean, I can confirm when I was in DLP last month Disney Dreams did feature "Let It Go" being sung in French. I was not there with any children but I did hear some English speaking children asking their parents why the words of the song were different and why they couldn't understand it or sing along.

This may be what he is referring to in his post.

IN answer to the original question you should not compare it to Orlando or you will really not enjoy it, its not a patch in anyway to Orlando there is nothing about Paris other than perhaps it is quicker to get to that is better or even as good as Orlando.

that said before I went to Orlando I still enjoyed since I have been to Orlando and now gone back to DLP I think that is very much the poor relation there is no Disney Magic there for me

My friend took her son 6yrs ago ,he was never going to make 18 and sadly passed away aged 15..He got to experience the magic of Disney Paris when a cast member led Mickey over to him and Mickey got down on one knee to hold his hand and the cast member whispered to him "Mickeys been waiting a long time to meet you"...

-Pirates is better
-Big Thunder is better
-The castle is prettier
-The parks are closer together and you can walk to your hotel from the parks
-It has la place de Remy, as well or better themed than any area at WDW
-Dreams is better than anything in Orlando (bar the Star Wars fireworks which I haven't speak for)
- Mickey and the Magician is at least as good as (in my opinion far better) than any stage show at Disney World.

Just off the top of my head.

I don't want to come over as the DLP defence force in this thread, I'm going to Disney World next month and can't wait, but I do feel it gets an unfair rep from people. It was never intended to be the Euro version of Disney World. If anything Disney World is the odd resort out.

Can I join you in the DLP defence force? I completely agree with you. I love WDW but also love DLP.

I'm hoping to go to WDW in 2018 but that all depends on my finances - being a solo traveller room prices are through the roof. Next year will be my 3rd visit to DLP and I absolutely love it and I'm glad that people who live in the UK and other parts of Europe are able to experience Disney parks in a closer environment.
