It allows you to change the location your computer appears to be in, so you can access US services. Right now, you can't order a magic band through MDE if the system detects you're outside the US.

If you want to do this, I recommend an app like TunnelBear. Install and open, then set the country to the US and press connect. Log in to MDE as normal, it will then see you're in the US and enable the purchase link. Place your order, then go back into the VPN and disconnect it.

We have our old magic bands from our last trip (2019) and will be taking them with us. I assume we will be able to use them with no costs involved ?

Yes that's fine, as long as they're still showing as active in the my bands part of MDE. I took my 2019 band with me and no issues. Although I also ordered a new one just to have a different style. Could use either one.

I have done this, but it wants a us address, I can’t find a way to say I want to pick up in resort?

When I did it, I left my UK address as the billing address and it selected "ship to resort" for the shipping address automatically.

I don't have a future booking to recheck at the moment though.

Thank you for all your help, I’ve finally managed it. It didn’t like the card I was using so changed it and it went through x
