Where's the best place for an airboat tour / ride in Orlando area?

We've always liked Spirit of the Swamp. They use small boats and everyone gets headsets so you can talk to each other and the captain. They also do longer tours.
Places like Boggy Creek are OK if you just want a quick blast around the lake for a shorter time, but we prefer the private boat, longer trips and being able to communicate... airboats are LOUD!

I'd second Spirit of the Swamp - their smaller boats make it a much more personalised experiece.

We're partial to Wild Florida, one of the biggest. They also have a gator park and drive-through safari, so lots more to do than just an airboat ride.

If you are coming into or out of Miami, there is Buffalo Tiger on the Tamiami Causeway. It is rather different to anything you might do in the Orlando area.

For starters.. they don’t do this!

Regrettably not. Buffalo tiger is around 10 miles from Miami Int as you head towards Naples. It is run by Native American Indians.
They feed the Alligators and they come right up to the boat, where the guide will feed them cheesits and even touch them .
It can best be described as very authentic and very raw!
In comparison, the Orlando offerings are more sanitised.
