That's useful to know, thank you

We have done two connecting rooms at pop in the past, we requested connecting rather than adjacent and got it 3/3 times, even when we also cheekily requested the standard rooms in the 60's buildings. All the value resorts have these rooms and the majority of rooms are connecting on one side. Have stayed in a family suite at AoA and these are great though not cheap, but with more living/kitchenette space which can be nice for breakfasts and chilling in the room. 2 bed suites at DVC are amazing but expensive and there are some close alternatives that are much cheaper for a small drive/uber. A 1 bed that sleeps 5 may also work for you if your youngest isn't too tall for the pull out single sleeper.

Thanks for your replies everyone. Think we are decided that the room at CBR won’t be big enough for the 5 of us sadly, so options remain ( based on what is currently available on the Disney website) fort wilderness cabin, upgrade to BC ( just fir the larger room) or splurge and go for the 2 bed villa at SSR.
Also wondered- is it possible to book a seperate independent booking ( we are booked as a package through Ever after holidays) for a room only without tickets for 1 at CBR? Just thinking we could spread over 2 rooms that way, but not sure if it would mess up MDE etc?

Just had a look on Disney re this. Wouldn’t be worth it even if you could- works out about the same to upgrade to SSR!

If you go for a 2 bed at SSR you may be eligible for improved dining credits, but also the girls can all have their own bed and you get a full kitchen and washer/dryer. If prices were similar I would choose this over 2 rooms, but I own at SSR so am a little biased towards the resort

Hi
I’m thinking of getting connecting rooms at the Coronado, can I have two separate bookings and then request of connecting rooms. Do you recommend Coronado over all the other moderate hotels I’m finding it really hard to decide on which one we should go for thanks

Yes that’s what we did and then you link them together. I absolutely love Coronado Springs it feels like a deluxe resort the restaurants are fab and the rooms are all new and lovely 😊
We are going again at Christmas 🎄

Lucky you! I’d love to go at Christmas but not sure I’d be able to talk hubby into it with the crowds. I keep telling it’s either heat of August or crowds of Christmas 🎄
I’ve seen people say they watch the fireworks from there, do you know where it is? Thanks

I would imagine from Topolinos Terrace, at the top of the tower there is a lovely spanish themed restaurant with an adjoining bar and you can go outside and watch from there, honestly its a lovely resort.
Christmas is busy but so lovely but so is August
