I'm wondering if there is anywhere in particular that has better deals on to purchase them? Or is it only Apple & Best Buy that have stocks for the UK voltage system?

Also (not sure if anyone will know this) my Mum has an ASDA staff discount card, which previously could be used at Walmart. Not sure if this is still the case, but I'm wondering if they also stock them as she could potentially get a further discount there.

Thanks in Advance

Gill
Iirc Walmart were selling the 64GB iPad 9th generation for $319 earlier today (they’re £319 in the UK.) I’m sure this will be more than adequate for your father unless he really wants the features the higher models offer (FaceID, better camera, VR etc). Asda discount cards still work in Walmart so if you can find them there it’s definitely worth doing if it’s still 10% off. It’ll more than cover the added sales tax. As it’s value is under £390 you shouldn’t have any issues bringing it back to the UK either.

Thank you so much! We will obviously be spending about half our flipping time in Walmart, so we can look at these.

Good to know about the discount too!

We purchased some apple airpod pros a few weeks ago and got them from Bestbuy who price match amazon.com and Walmart and target as long as there in stock, so BB had them on offer $199.99 and amazon and target had the $175 I did ask apple at the Florida Mall if they price matched but got told no go buy them at that price from Bestbuy’s …..so I did

IPhones, iPads etc work and charge everywhere. In the unlikely event you didn’t have a USB adaptor, just buy one for a few £ off Amazon. I’d highly recommend this one which charges an iPad super quick and also powers laptops. amazon/gp/product/...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

IPhones also work fine in the U.K. and when my daughter dropped hers in 2 inches of water and the supposedly water resistant phone broke with water ingress, Apple even replaced it with a new one in the UK.

Best price around for the latest iPad seems to be through Very if you are a new customer and take a credit account. 20% off first order so it’s £255 for 64gb latest version.

As someone who has previously brought phones and IPads in the US, they work fine in the U.K. and no problems with Apple in the U.K. if you do have an issue with the device such as the battery.

But with the exchange rate you really need to work out the total inc sales tax and if you will be saving anything/much.

We’ve narrowed it down to 2 at the minute. Walmart have an iPad Air 5 (they have the original) for $559 and Target have a regular 10.2 inch iPad for $329.99. I haven’t looked online to see if anywhere has cheaper yet.

They just can’t decide which of those 2 they prefer
