Neither did I.
I’m going to give them a call when I get back just to get a better explanation, not to kick up a stink or anything , I just want to clarify that it’s a thing not to have luggage added.

Sounds really stressful. Glad to hear that your were reunited with your clubs! I went through Charlotte airport last week and it was toatal chaos,

This is why we will never do indirect flights. We just see it as hassle and a stress you just don’t need.

When we originally booked it was as ‘direct’ as we could make it, with the flight from Heathrow straight to Raleigh. It’s funny as I don’t see going to Heathrow first as indirect as we don’t have much choice flying from Glasgow.
Will defo be aware of T3 going forward though, at least until things get a bit better.

No, at check in they didn’t.
They just said baggage wasn’t included on this flight. When I said we had used reward flights loads and never had this before they just said we would have been given what flight was available. We booked this about 11 months prior so I doubt that was the reason.
I have already put in a complaint, I thought that maybe when the cancelled our original and re booked us they missed off the luggage, however I have since remembered that they had the original booking email and it does say on that I should pay for any checked bags.
I just don’t understand why it would have booked like this. So will ask when I get back and can call them.
