Disney Springs 4th July

Does anyone know if anything usually happens at Disney Springs for the 4th July
Wasn’t sure if they do any fireworks or anything?

We are usually (pre-Covid) in Florida for 4th July. I don’t think there has ever been fireworks at DS.
We ate at Raglan Road back in 2017 on July 4th. The whole area was decorated for July 4th and there were dancers & musicians in the stage area. It was a lovely evening. Loads of people dressed in red, white & blue.
In 2019 we were staying at Riverside and didn’t got to DS that nights as they had a 4th July celebration going on with themed food & activities all day long. Pretty sure Captain America First Avenger was the movie that night in the gardens.

Speaking of 4th July... We're flying out the 9th - Just how quickly do the 4th crowds seem to disappear? 😂

I know it's probably busy all the time now, but in the past?

As the 4th is a Monday this year I think the 4th July crowds will mostly have left by the time we get there on the 9th as Americans tend to take long weekend breaks to Florida. Having said that, I’m expecting it to be very busy as it is the middle of the US school holidays.

Yeah I'm bracing myself for a fully hectic fortnight!
Just be nice to know it's ONLY the summer holiday crowd & not 4th too! Lol
