Hi again, can I just ask, did your DS have to arrange his own Embassy appointment or did Yummy Jobs arrange it? DS has the interview tomorrow but just trying to get a head’s up. Thanks.

They have to organize it themselves, he’ll get a DS2019 form from the US sponsor then once they have that they have to pay the Sevis fee ($35) do the Visa application, then once that’s complete can book the embassy appointment ($160).

Yummy guide them through every step, it can seem daunting but was a very smooth process.

Best of luck to him for tomorrow 😊

From Visa application, he got an embassy appointment a week later, was approved at the appointment then another week to receive his passport back with the Visa stamp in it, through the courier option.

The application process & waiting for documents from the US sponsor in order to do the Visa application however took months.
