Coronado springs

What an absolutely gorgeous resort. Checked in last night. Never been here before but loving it so far. In a perfect spot. Next to bus stop 1 in Castilas. Very short walk to main building. Currently laying bed waiting for alarm to go off and hit Hollywood studios and rope drop slinky. Will probably buy rise and hope to get on TOT and RNR before it gets crazy.

That’s good to hear! We’re off to Coronado Springs in November, there’s a lot of negativity around the size of the resort and how long it takes to get anywhere, but we don’t mind a walk

Going for my second visit at the the end of August. I think all of the resorts are large. OP is your room a standard or did you pay extra for the location?

We are going back to Coronado in September and can't wait. We were in Cabanas last time which we found to be perfect, I love the resort and cant wait to go back

Here now, staying in Casitas 4. It is a beautiful resort...
Do you find the rooms to be noisy though?
We have a very loud family above us and we can hear everything. Woken up at 5am this morning with terrible banging and screaming children 😱
Not sure if I can put up with this for 2 weeks...

This is why I ask for top floor.

Wish we had requested that too 🤦🏻
There is no sound-proofing at all

No special request or paid extra. Just got lucky. We are on ground floor and never heard a peep last night.

Oh dear. I hope it gets better for you. We never heard a peep from anyone last night but was exhausted after travel day. We’re on ground floor. I guess it’s just the luck of the draw?

Don't hesitate to go to Guest Services in the Tower. They moved us from the Cabanas to the a Tower Room in January due to problems we were having with air conditioning. I'm not saying they'll upgrade you, but they'll certainly move you to a higher floor room if they can.

If you don't ask, you don't get. Us Brits are too polite and tend to tolerate things. My experience of Disney customer service at CSR was very positive. I'm sure they can do something for you.
