Switched from Caribbean to the Med

After a trying few months I unexpectedly wasn’t fit to fly a week before our cruise and Vegas trip so initially I rebooked for the Caribbean cruise again (cancelling and rebooking literally from my hospital bed) . I then thought about it and decided as they currently won’t remove my appendix but want to wait I really didn’t fancy any long flights if it unexpected flared up again .
So back onto Carnival again “I remember you “ (guess they don’t get many calls from the hospital ) and we are now booked on a Med cruise sailing from Dover (a whole hour on a direct train from our local station) and ending in Civitavecchia (hopefully without the new bag rinsing service ) .
I’m really quite excited as it is years since I’ve visited mainland Spain or Portugal and we have added three days in Rome staying right by the Trevi fountain at the end.
Now if the holiday gods could just let this one happen !

Oh no. Hope you OK. Hopefully they will remove your appendix if that’s what is making you Ill. I had appendicitis a few years ago, was the worst pain ever, but luckily it was taken out the following day. X get well soon. X
