Almost three hours for DW and I to get our approval this morning. I'm sure that in light of the news they're seeing an increase in applications and that contributed to it taking longer than other recent ones, but it didn't stop me getting nervous!

Just done mine and my daughter's ESTA ready for our trip in September, took less than an hour to come back approved, I can now tick that off our list of essential travel documentation

I was going to get a new passport before we go in August but I’m now thinking just keep mine till we return and do the Estas today. I wasn’t sure if it would still be valid my issue date is April 2013 so I’m think I will be ok till October this year still using it. Is this correct?

For the US a UK passport is valid until the end date, no extra months required until some EU countries.

If you are flying indirect you may need 3 months (check your destination)

I'm going to do ours tonight. Do I do individual or group for the 2 of us?
