Disney with young children

We went when our children were 3.5 and 1.5 and then again at 5 and 2.5. There's loads of rides they can do. The Disney junior show is great for little ones and they loved the parade and fireworks. Restaurants we ate at were the Rainforest Cafe, Inventions, Chez Remy, captain Jack's, Cafe Agrabah and the Plaza Gardens breakfast buffet. All were great although Captain Jack's was my favourite as we loved watching the boats go past on the ride.

We stayed onsite so we could have a break and usually had our sit down meal at lunch when the boys were less tired, choosing to have an earl of sandwich in our room for dinner most nights. This worked well. Apart from the first night when we stayed up for the fireworks, we rarely stayed in the parks past 5-6 o'clock.

we are just back from DLP for first time with our 4 year old- she loved casey junior, the wee boat beside it, Pinocchio ride, snow white ride, peter pan flight, carrousels, teacups, small world and surprisingly one of her favourites was star tours lol!

in the studios she loved ratatouille, cars, slinky, Aladdin and the stitch live show was amazing for kids as its an interactive show and the kids sit on the carpet at the front!

we have free half board and the kids loved the buffet restaurants such as plaza gardens as lots of choice
