If the latter is sounds like it's bridging the ticket.

Very frustrating that there is no clear way of knowing.
I think he actually said it was the quick upgrade that gave the higher value for our ticket. The guy in MK on Sunday didn't do a quick upgrade and said it would be $250.

We upgraded on Sunday in Hollywood Studios. We went to the ticket centre next to Starbucks.

We got our upgrade for $150 each. The CM was great and she was wearing a badge saying she was a trainer.

It’s a shame that it’s hit and miss on the price depending on who you speak to.

Someone asked the question :
What is the current price to upgrade a 21 day ultimate ticket? I am interested in this after a negative experience 2 yrs ago upgrading the same ticket to a gold pass at Epcot.

Has anyone tried this? Just wondered if I'd be better off sticking to a 14 day ult to upgrade especially if they are'bridging' as what could they possibly equate the 21 day ticket to?

Thanks

I am going from 14 day tickets to Platinum at Xmas, I’ll report back here my experiences as it seems getting info on this is thin on the ground. Would not normally do it, but I’ve got 3 trips in a year coming up, including hitting the Gold blackout date December 2020 (into that by 4 days before we go to the Gulf) hence why I need Platinum, so should save us about £400 a piece I think compared to buying tickets.

Best price we have had several times is Hollywood studios guest services and if my memory serves me right we paid around $65 so snapped their hand of as were quoted several hundred at different locations.

Was this before the big price jump earlier this year?

Greetings from epcot
I just upgraded my 14 day to the dvc gold for $150 inc tax.
I used the photo from the last person that upgraded earlier this month. From that they used the transaction number pulled up the ticket and after 4 cms and a big discussion i got the price.

I worked out that ultimates bought as part of a package eg hotel etc come up as, a uk select ticket and that gives a lower price and causes the issues.

I got there in the end. My first attempt but did take 20 mins or so to do.

Edited at 03:50 PM. Reason: Trying to upload pic

Glad to be of assistance . I need to upgrade another child pass in May and I’m not looking forward to the hassle.
