The whole Maxwell family is rotten to the core so I don’t expect her to be any different. Her brothers were heavily involved in their father’s frauds and some of their own.

The intention is to spend it with her mother. I assumed that meant in the US but of course it may not.

I’m sure she has very powerful friends protecting her, after decades as a high class madam she probably has so much dirt on so many powerful people she will be very well protected by them.

The one person I feel sorry for is Beatrice , no doubt her wedding will be hurriedly changed to a quieter wedding abroad.
As for the Queen I think Andrew has always being her weak spot , I do feel sorry for her too actually.
Harry and Meghan must be heaving a sigh of relief the press actually have a “bad royal” to go after now.

I dont agree with this (my opinion). As far as I know none of us were there so cant know exactly what happened.

The fact that he is a royal doesnt automatically make him guilty OR innocent !

I agree. However being royal does mean that you get treated differently. There is now a big question as to why the British police dropped, indeed refused to start an investigation into all of this. Why when these rumours have been around for years they were never investigated.

If this were a non royal it would have been investigated. The family of someone suspected of child abuse would be interviewed by social workers to ensure that nothign untoward had happened at home.

He has been protected from an investigation. The press have been very quiet over the years. Something they are not normally guilty of. They are quite willing to make up stories about Harry and Megan, willing to hack the phones of friends of the Royal family but when it came to a case which at face value involves the abuse of child they have done next to nothing. Only now are they reporting of something they have been aware of since 2010.

In general l agree however the young girl was over the age of consent in the UK ... but not the US so any pursuit of criminal charges would have needed to have being instigated by the FBI. Did his status here mean he was treated differently, yes of course it did, which is horribly wrong.
Ultimately his own arrogance was his downfall, that interview was a disaster of his own making.

She may have been over the age of consent but if she was a victim of trafficking as she claimed then it’s still rape.

It is, but far harder to prove. If he as seems likely also availed himself of hospitality in the US with girls under 18 as well , it opens a whole new avenue to explore.
Going after him (or anyone else) on the grounds of the girl’s ages is far more reliable (and likely to lead to further charges from information obtained from that investigation) .
What is so damning is how this situation with very young girls and their (at best) sexual exploitation was brushed away by the authorities in both the UK and US. unwilling to take on figures of influence.
It’s not just the protection of Andrew but others who were given a wide berth by the authorities because of their “influence”. These parties were were by all accounts well attended in London , there’s a lot more to come out.
