4mins from boiling for me. Guess, you’ll just have to experiment.

Large egg- 4 minutes exactly from entering boiling water.
Medium - 3.5 minutes.

I put mine in cold water and set the alarm straight away for 11 minutes, could do 10 for a bit softer.

Never keep eggs in the fridge.

Add egg to cold water in saucepan and turn on gas. Soft boiled are 9 minutes, hard boiled 11 minutes.

Eggs are poached if cooked directly in water but coddled if in any container.

I put them in a cold pan & once boiling give them 4 minutes.

I have boiled eggs every week day for breakfast, yum!

I always keep eggs in the fridge!

Honestly, I’m surprised I’m still alive at this rate so eggs are now out the fridge and ready for tomorrow’s experiment.

Do I rest them or plunge them straight into cold water?
