Has anyone put in a claim for additional expenses due to being stranded with Virgin and if so do you have an email/ phone number to do it with please?
Thanks

Sent my claim in and had a response to say my claim will be paid and gave me some miles too. Cant fault virgin as a whole, a couple of staff were unhelpful at the airport but customer services were fab

Thanks Lizzie, followed your email link day before yesterday and put in a claim for the uber from LGW to LHR. Agreed this morning, just completed the bank details via the link to finalise the payment.

The way VA have handled the situation, the ability to change flights to Key West via the APP at 00:05 in the morning and the aftersales have convinced me to use them again next year, even if this means a £50-£100 surcharge pp over BA and Norwegian.

To me, the carriers have always been much of a muchness but the two times we've had problems over the years, VA have handled both situations superbly; they've definitely won me over this year.

i agree, every company will have disgruntled customers and things that go wrong but it is how they manage them that matters.
They offered people the chance to change because of Dorian which I would have loved to have done which would have avoided the delay but they got me there only a day late and it was fine.
Im just waiting for the money too.

Was supposed to fly to London last week with Flybe but it was cancelled - I have put in a claim for compensation and that is all going through. I have also put in a claim for the train that I had to get as needed to get to London but am still waiting to hear.

I think it was 3 days. Resend it to the address above.

I rang them today as I resent and still didn't hear anything and she sorted it while I was on the phone. They have agreed to everything but the car hire which we will claim from the insurance. I have had the claim link through and sent it back so just waiting for the money now. Was really impressed at how quickly she sorted it really
