Magical express and littles ones

Hi, we've never used the Magical Express before so I was just wondering how easy this would be with a 4yr old and a baby? Do they need car seats? Are there any available or do they just sit on laps?
Thanks

Never used it but I had a mooch on the Disney site. This will help.

Airport Transportation and Check In – Frequently Asked Questions

Are car seats permitted on Disney’s Magical Express motorcoaches?

No. Car seats are not permitted in the passenger cabin and must be stowed in the storage compartment underneath the motorcoach.

Children can sit on an adult's lap or occupy their own seat.

Edit. Also found this.

Florida law does not require car seats on buses, nor is there any mechanism to attach a car seat to the bus seat. Your baby can sit on the seat next to you or on your lap. If you happen to have a car seat with you, your driver can stow it underneath with the luggage.

Ooh thank you, that's really useful! Have decided to not hire a car this time so just working out if I need to take children's car seats.
Don't suppose you know anything about the rules for taking children in taxis over in the states? They don't need cars seats in our taxis, not that I've ever wanted to take them without seats but I'm not sure how it works over there.

My view is that a child needs to be properly restrained. To that end I would want a proper seat in a taxi

I'm not an expert on this though
The person who is pops on here often ''Ilivehereorlando'' hopefully she will see this post.

A seat is not legally required in a taxi (see (6)). But it is still the responsibility of the parent to make sure the child is safe.

ILHO. Thanks for this. I was hoping you would post that link. I will stick it in the Dibb Guidebook this weekend.
