Thinking of a child free long weekend here with hubby in August.
Can anyone recommend a lovely boutique hotel or B&B, maybe in a nice quiet spot?

Wroxton House.
Stay just off M40 in the little Cotswolds village of Wroxton, roughly 18 miles from Stratford.
Best Western Plus, dates back to 1649, really nice with excellent restaurant and bar food, village church, short walk to three fantastic pubs, also with good food.
Handy for Blenheim Palace and Warwick Castle too.
