Manchester arena - best place to park?

Hi

Going to a concert at the arena on a Monday evening... never been here before and just wondering where the best place to park is..any suggestions please?

Got at least a 1hr 40 min drive back home (on a school night too lol), so trying to avoid as much as possible queuing to get out of the arena car park if that makes sense?

Thanks

Thanks... did consider this, but doesn't really work for us with the kids in tow lol. Will have this as our back up plan.

There is a car park on the other side of the station to the arena. That should be easier, think it's actually the station car park, it's only £4 all day. Also the Printworks car park is a short walk away.
Don't park on the one next to the arena, it's chaos! It's a free for all to get out! The actual arena one is usually fairly well organised to be fair as everyone just joins the line! Prepay your parking before you go in though as it's just a flat event rate so saves queuing to pay at the end! Another one is to leave the concert just before it ends to muss some of the crowds.

Arndale shopping center is another one to consider, £5 all night after 5pm. 5 min walk from the arena and no queing atall to get out.

You will have no trouble parking here. It's about a 5 minute walk from the Arena (which has an entrance in Victoria Train Station, to give you an idea on the map). The other option is that there are railway arches at the bottom of Blackfriars on Chapel Street , which will be available for paid parking.

We always use justpark.com where you can park on someones drive near to a stadium. It is very cheap and has the advantage of getting out quickly and local home owner can tell you the shortcuts.
Most have reviews you can read before deciding.
After you have chosen and paid, you are sent a text and email confirmation with the owners address and contact phone number.
We used it for Mancr and several times in Cardiff and was great every time.
