We have done it for the last two years running. One of the highlights of both trips. Good food, friendly staff, a great view of the whales and a chance to learn some interesting facts from the trainers.
I would get there as early as you can so you can start on the great food and free alcohol!

Really good, advise book as early as possible as tables are allocated first come first served (and you want to be right by the tank)

Definitely on the list to do again next year

I didn't realise that was how it worked. I thought we just got lucky both times. Iirc it doesn't tell you when you book and only find out when you arrive

Yes if you book direct with Seaworld,not guaranteed of course,but a much better chance.

The text in the link suggests u book your ticket the get to seaworld on the morning and they allocate you at time to eat?

I believe it's allocated when you book not on the day. I've only booked the other day for May so not expecting the best seat in the house but looking forward to it.
