Magical Express Departure Question?

How many hours before your flight does ME pick you up? If it's too early I'm thinking of extending our car hire and dropping off at MCO instead.

On the day I depart from my Disney Resort hotel for Orlando International Airport, how will I know what time a Disney's Magical Express motorcoach will pick me up?
A.

The day before you check out, you’ll receive a transportation notice advising you of the motorcoach pick-up time, which will be approximately 3 hours prior to your scheduled flight departure time for domestic flights and 4 hours prior to your scheduled departure time for international flights. You are responsible for bringing your luggage to the motorcoach pick-up location.

Four hours is a bit premature I think - especially because we will probably have to stop for pick ups from other resorts so I may look at extending our car hire and drive to MCO.

You are probably right albeit I suspect there wont be that many delays getting there. As you say extending the car may be a better idea but that may prove impossible if you have 'locked in' a price already. To add time/day normally means a cancellation and a new booking.
