Cruise Travel Insurance

We are thinking of booking a NCL Cruise for Jan 2022, long enough for us to save up plus hopefully for the covid situation to be under control.

My question is to do with Insurance, where would anyone suggest looking for cruise insurance, assume it is different to a package holiday type.

Pretty much every insurance company will cover cruises ,you just have to tell them , it's an add on with some but not a lot extra.

Our travel insurance (packaged with our bank account) covers cruises including air evacuation from a ship if seriously ill - which is the expensive item and medical expenses whilst on board. It doesn’t cover travel disruption for missed ports etc. Best to talk to an insurer before you buy.

its usually always a drop down option when you use any online broker service for insurance... Just read the cover though (as always) and always check when the service has sent you to the actual insurers page that the cruise element is included - sometimes these online compare sites dont work correctly.
