MCO to CUN

We are at the last piece of our 2021 Florida/Cancun trip and would love any advice on people’s experience of MCO to CUN.

We have seen JetBlue do the route, but can’t find any others for comparison. Are JetBlue any good? I know it’s just an A to B, and anything will do that gets us there, but has anyone got tips and tricks from past journeys?

We have used JetBlue, not only for that route but also other domestic flights. You will need the blue plus fare for hold luggage. If you get them on day of release can be super cheap and if you are prepared to fly off-peak cheaper again.

Have also done indirect via Miami. Less enjoyable. so if you can get JetBlue direct I would take it.

Are you doing cun to UK? Through ticket best as likely to transit via Miami (if not ba direct) and it can be tight there on that route I think.

Thanks. We are back via CDG on AirFrance to Manchester, but this middle leg we are doing independently of the other two. Is there anything we need to do different (entrance visa Mex) with entering via the US?

Keeping our options open, but the direct from MCO is obviously the first choice. I was surprised when looking at booking, how few flight’s do the MCO-CUN route. I had mistakenly thought it would be plentiful.

On the visa side, I have only ever gone from the us to Mexico, so not sure if it is different or not Sorry.

Also not sure how mex will treat UK after Brexit date in Jan 21 so may need to double check then anyway.
